Provenance: Michael Oliver, NYC - acquired in the 1980s.
Notes: This is a beautiful example of a Baule ivory comb.
The patina is exceptional; the features of the mask are
completely worn off from years of constant handling.
The tines are original; which is a rarity; most combs of
this age are usually restored.
