Notes: This is a fine and rare example of an Abeokuta
Ibeji. The extreme squatting position produces a powerful
and tense image. The attention to detail is fantastic; the
skirt is deeply carved and the tie around the back of the
waist is a wonderful touch. The indigo and accutremonts
on this figure are original; all of this combined makes for a
top quality Ibeji.
In excellent condition with NO repairs or restoration.
