Notes: This is a fine example of an Nsapo figure. The Nsapo
are a sub-group of the Songye. Nsapo sculpture resemble
Lulua sculpture and also have a more 'naturalistic' appearance.
This example has a wonderful (UNALTERED) deep palm oil
patina that oozes when exposed to heat. Fetish charge holes
can be found in the head and abdomen.
